Out Of Kilter

We are out of kilter until we have something that we don*t normally want. Our indispensable need is God as well as everything that accompanies His salvation. Strangely, we don*t even know we have this need until He reveals that to us. Our flesh does not want to understand or admit that we don*t have it and need it.

1 Corinthians 2:14: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We are designed to need Him and nothing else meets that need. We are designed to please Him and nothing else meets that need. We are designed to be the recipients of His love and nothing else meets that need. We are designed to love Him and nothing else meets that need. We are designed to obey Him and nothing else meets that need. We are designed to worship Him and nothing else meets that need. We need His will and nothing else meets that need. We need to be humble before Him and nothing else meets that need. We are designed to know Him and nothing else meets that need. We are designed to pray to Him and nothing else meets that need.

We need what Jesus had and has. He has all those things perfectly. He is the wisest, happiest and most fulfilled man there has ever been. He can only have those things perfectly because He is Deity. We can only get them from Him.

2 Peter 1:3: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

John 10:10b: . . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
